Thanks (But No Thanks) for Setting Up My Blog

We love to create websites, build your brand, market your business through print and digital media. We get a kick out of giving you the tools to be successful in both the off- and online marketplace.

One of those tools is the blog. Isn’t it wonderful? Now you can communicate whatever you want to your corner of the digital world.

We know what you’re thinking: “But now I have to write about my business.”

And now, after a brief pause: “I don’t know what to write about my business!”

It’s okay. You can take the paper bag off your mouth now.

Here are a few ideas to get you started:

  • Search your email. Type in the phrases “How do I” or “How can I” or any other beginning of a question. Guess what? The things your customers are asking you about are exactly what they want to know!
  • Expand on your FAQ. If you already have a list of frequently asked questions and brief answers, great! Use your blog to provide longer answers, with examples.
  • Answer the questions you wish they’d ask. What are those questions about your business you LOVE IT when people ask you at parties? Ask yourself in a blog post and answer them!
  • Answer the questions you’re tired of answering. For those questions that make you want to scream because you get asked them ALL DAY, EVERY DAY, won’t it be wonderful if people can just read the answer in your blog?
