Farmhouse Creative Receives the Spirit of Small Business Award

The Delaware County business community gathered Thursday evening, October 30th, to recognize the years best and brightest. Farmhouse Creative was recognized at the 120th Annual Meeting of the Muncie-Delaware Chamber of Commerce by being presented the Spirit of Small Business Award.

Scott McKee of First Merchants Bank presented the award to Angie Rogers-Howell to kick off the awards ceremony Thursday evening.

“I look forward to what’s in store next,” Rogers-Howell told the crowd.

The Chamber said about 350 business and community leaders attended the annual meeting, dinner and silent auction.

From the Annual Meeting Program:
Farmhouse Creative was established in 2012 and has made great strides in the short amount of time they have been in business. Starting from the ground up, the company started with zero clients and now has over 100 in less than three years. Owner, Angie Rogers-Howell has worked tirelessly to establish relationships with local business and has been able to provide excellent service while building trust within the business community.

Farmhouse Creative purchased fellow Chamber member business Printing Creations upon the retirement of Carolyn “Buffy” Grieves. Since that time, Farmhouse Creative has worked diligently to ensure a seamless transition for all of Printing Creation’s clients. Farmhouse Creative has proven the same level of customer service and attention to detail that those customers expected.

Together, Angie and Matt lend their time and expertise to many local groups and organizations. Angie is on the Advisory Council of Indiana Public Radio and is a board member of Women In Business Unlimited (WIBU). Matt is currently Vice President of the Muncie JUNTO Club and is a founder of the ECI Social Media Group.

The Howell’s have worked to keep overhead low by primarily working from their home in Farmland. They also utilize the Innovation Connector as their “home away from home.”
